Charlotte Harbor spans roughly 270 square miles of protected estuary, making it one of Southwest Florida’s most versatile inshore fisheries. Its broad grass flats, oyster bars, creek mouths, and mangrove shorelines create habitat for fish through every season.
Snook, redfish, trout, and black drum are reliable targets around the harbor’s structure and shallow water. In spring and summer, tarpon move through nearby channels and deeper edges as water temperatures rise.
