Best Tarpon Tides
The outgoing tide at Boca Grande Pass concentrates tarpon in the deepest part of the channel. Plan to be on the water 2 hours before peak outgoing for the best action during May and June.
Summer Fishing Hours
June through September, the best fishing is early morning (6–10 AM) before the afternoon thunderstorms build. We typically wrap up by noon in summer to keep everyone safe.
Water Clarity Matters
Redfish and snook on the flats are sight-fishing targets. Clear, calm days with light wind make for the best sight-fishing conditions in Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound.
What to Bring
Sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, a hat, and light breathable clothing. I provide all rods, reels, tackle, and bait. Bring snacks and drinks — and a camera for the memories.
